Book Review Policy

 Hey there! 

I am an avid reader and loves almost all genres. And I review most of the books that I read. If you are an author or publisher who would like to get your book reviewed, please check out my book reviews. If you like the way I review books, please do read on. 



Q. Why should you get your book reviewed?

A. Your book is published and new. But do people know about it? Even if they do, will they choose your book over the vast range of their TBR? 
This is why it is a good idea to get your books reviewed. When I read and review your book, my audience gets to know about your book and they would decide their choice to buy the book.


Q. How do I review books?

A. My book reviews have a standard format - An introduction, a quote, a pretty picture of the book, blurb or the storyline (without revealing the entire story, of course), what I liked about the book, what I did not like about the book, conclusion. 
I should display some disclaimers here:
⚠  I only give genuine and honest reviews. My review will consist of both compliments and criticisms. If you are not ready to accept criticisms or if you are only looking for compliments, this is probably not the right place. 
⚠  My reviews are only subject to the book and NOT the author.


Q. Where do I publish my reviews?

A.  I publish my reviews on my blog, Instagram, Goodreads, Amazon, Google Books and Pinterest. As of now, I do not use Facebook and Twitter. So I can't publish reviews on those 2 platforms.


Q. How long do I take to publish my reviews?

A.  I may take 1-3 weeks to publish my reviews after I receive the book, depending upon the existing review requests I have. 


Q. What genre of books do I prefer?

A.  I read pretty much all genres except erotica. Also, I am very choosy when it comes to non-fiction.


Q. How do I prefer my book copy?

A. I accept paperback, hardcover, and Mobi (Kindle).


Q. Could I do any other promotions for books?

A. Yes. Apart from reviews, I am open to author interviews and giveaways.
⚠  For now, I host my giveaways on Instagram for Indian residents only.
⚠  The author or publisher is responsible for sending the book to the winner(s). 


Q. Do I charge for my reviews?

A. Yes. I do paid reviews and I accept payment in UPI and Amazon Pay.
⚠  Paid reviews do not mean 5-star ratings. Please do not misunderstand that. As I said earlier, my reviews are honest and inclusive of criticisms. 


To sum it up, my Terms and Conditions are:

  • I only give honest reviews.
  • Once the review is published, I will not make any changes to it.
  • I will publish the reviews on Amazon, Instagram, Goodreads, Google Books, Pinterest and my blog. I do not have an account on Facebook and Twitter.
  • I accept payment in UPI and Amazon Pay.
  • I do not review books of the erotica genre and I am very choosy about non-fiction books.
